Die Welt blickt 2025 nach Basel: Mit dem Eurovision Song Contest ESC im Mai und der UEFA Women’s Euro im Juli hostet Basel gleich zwei Grossveranstaltungen mit internationalem Charakter. Im Vorfeld werden deshalb am Mittwoch, 7. Mai 2025 im Rahmen eines «Mapathons» die Zugänglichkeitsinformationen von Lokalitäten wie Restaurants, Hotels und Tramhaltestellen in Basel erfasst.

This offer is aimed at AXA employees who are stationed in Winterthur. For this purpose, the AXA volunteers will take part in a half-day recording campaign on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During the first 1.5 hours, volunteers learn why it is important to collect accessibility information and how the ginto app works. Employees are then able to record accessibility data from various locations in Winterthur using the app over the following approximately 2.5 hours. Volunteers are divided into small groups together with other employees. Each group is assigned 1-2 specific locations for recording, which have agreed to the recording in advance.
ACHTUNG: Es sind nur noch letzte Plätze für die Erfassung von kleineren Betrieben (Cafés, Shops) zu vergeben, die zeitlich flexibel sind (Erfassung Vormittag und Nachmittag möglich). Alle anderen Anmeldungen können leider ab sofort nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden. Für alle Betriebe besteht unabhängig von dieser Aktion die Möglichkeit, ihren Betrieb selbständig zu erfassen.
Diese Aktion wird initiiert durch den Verein Sitios, mit Unterstützung von Basel Tourismus, dem Förderverein Barrierefreie Schweiz mit der Initiative OK:GO, der Emma Schaub Stiftung und dem Swisslos-Fond Kanton Basel-Stadt.
